UPDATE of the project "inclusion of children and youngsters with special needs at the ecuadorian scholar system" In the Project "Inclusion of Children and Youngsters with Special Needs at the Ecuadorian Scholar System ", that is being executed by the Ministry of Education and Fundación General Ecuatoriana, in order to continue with the process of inclusion in the Ecuadorian schools, the following documents have been redesigned and published: Modelo Nacional de Inclusión
This material will be distributed during the trainings, that FGE and Ministry of Education are doing, in each of the provinces of the country. The model will be put into practice in 30 regular schools at a national level that will be changed to inclusive schools. For this, the staff of the school is trained during a week with a follow up process of the institution. The guides for parents, teachers and children were designed to create awareness in topics like inclusion, special needs and disability. They are given through workshops of awareness for parents, students and teachers in the 30 inclusive schools and in the 300 schools in the influence areas (10 per inclusive school).
