event OF THE YEAR
International Congress about quality of life for persons with disabilities from October 17th, to the 21st, in FLACSO, Fundación General Ecuatoriana organized this Congress to talk about:
- Concept, research and models of quality of life
- Services to support persons with disabilities
- Public policies and impact in the quality of life of persons with disabilities
In the congress we developed 12 conferences, 3 workshops and 1 panel. We will count We had the most important speakers about quality of life as in the national level as in the international one:

Profesor of Psicology on Disability at Salamanca Univeristy, Director of the College Institute for the Integration in the Community at Salamanca Univeristy. Director of the Siglo Cero Magazine. Researcher about different areas of disability.

Representation
Fundación General Ecuatoriana, as the organization leader in the sector of people with disabilities, has had participation in the following organizations.
- Member for two years as the Board of directors for the Inter-American Inclusion. The Inter-American organization that groups the Federations of intellectual disability.
- Promoter of the Ecuadorian Chapter of the Latin-American Group of Professional Rehabilitation for the integration and inclusion of persons with disability. (GLARP - IIPD).
It reached the Presidency of the following institutions.
- Ecuadorian Federation Pro Atención to the Person with Mental Deficiency (FEPAPDEM).
- National Federation of Not governmental Organisations for the Disability (FENODIS); being the representant of the NGO's before the Board of directors of the National Council of Disabilities (CONADIS).
